Lily Bulb

Yurine, the edible bulb of certain lily plants, is available during autumn in Japan and China. Outside of these countries, yurine is mostly found in packets although fresh yurine, imported from Japan, may sometimes be available. The creamy white bulbs separate into multiple petal-like segments when cut. Yurine has a mild, sweet flavour and a crunchy texture.
