Bombay Mix is one of the greatest things to ever go inside a sandwich. The crunch, the heat, the ethereal spicing, the crunch, did we mention the crunch.

If you want to make your own, perhaps Google it and watch a video, or buy the best Indian cookbook ever written, which is Pushpesh Pant’s India Cookbook. For us, it isn’t worth the drama; just go down the shops and buy a bag for a pound.

We use Bombay Mix in sandwiches at The Sandwich Shop and as a crunchy topping for our potato dishes sometimes.
