* One of the problems in Tunisian nomenclature. Lampouga (from the Italian) and the French name bille are used, but there is also evidence for herba and bouma.
The name dolphin by itself should properly be used only for the mammal dolphin, which is of course a much bigger and quite different creature. But Coryphaena hippurus is sometimes referred to incorrectly as a dolphin or a porpoise.
