REMARKS A collection of small fish, whose maximum lengths run from 8 to 20 cm, which come in black, grey and red colour schemes. The one illustrated is Parablennius gattorugine (Brünnich), the tompot or rock blenny.

CUISINE Normally used for fish soups.
