Dehydrator

Electronic dehydrators are machines that preserve fruit, vegetables and herbs by removing their moisture content. They’re a pretty sizeable piece of kit, and the price tag reflects that, but I’m including them because if you want to start creating your own flavoured spirits and some garnishes, they’re essential. Certain ingredients, particularly fruits, contain a lot of water, so if you’re infusing a vodka, say, it will reduce the ABV quite considerably if you infuse it directly.
