Entoloma mougeotii (Fr.) Hesler syn. Leptonia mougeotii (Fr.) P.D. Orton (illustrated 75% life size) Cap 2–5cm across, convex at first, then with a distinct navel-like depression; grey-lilac. Stem 40–60Γ—3–4mm; a very pallid grey. Flesh firm; greyish-white; taste and smell distinct, aromatic. Gills free; creamy, becoming pink when spores mature. Spores 9–13Γ—6.5–8.5ΒΌ. Spore print pink. Habitat in grassland, usually on chalky soils; summer to autumn. Uncommon. Not edible avoid.
