Oak Pin Cudoniella acicularis (Bull.) J. Schröt. (illustrated life size) Cap 1–4mm across, convex, margin inrolled, attached to substrate by a slender stalk up to 10mm long; white, ageing brownish. Spores 15–22×4–5¼, fusiform. Asci 120×13¼. Habitat gregarious on rotting wood, especially oak; autumn to early winter. Frequent. Not edible.
