Angostura Bitters

Angostura bitters the best known version of bitters. They, and other bitters, are made of herbs and spices infused in at least 44% alcohol. Used to add flavour to drinks, they are also fantastic in marinades and baking. They are named for the town Angostura in Venezuela rather than involving angostura bark from the tree of the same name.
