Chicharrón

Chicharrón similar to pork scratchings in Britain, these are pork rinds or skin that have been deep-fried. They are popular throughout South America, the Philippines and Spain and are eaten as a snack and as a topping on meals. They are especially popular in Colombia where they form part of the national dish.
