  • About

Pimento peppers often used to mean the small piquant heart-shaped pepper used to stuff olives or served pickled. It is also used to mean ‘ripe red bell peppers’ in Portuguese. Not to be confused with pimento berries or allspice, it is so named because Spanish explorers thought they were black pepper.
