Originally established in 1938 in the province of Cagliari to produce bulk wines for other wineries, this producer has been bottling their own wines since 1990 – mainly Vermentino, Nuragus, Monica and Cannonau – with leading oenologist Giacomo Tachis acting as their consultant. Their premium wine, Turriga, a barrique-aged blend of mainly Cannonau and Carignano, and the partially barrique-aged white Angialis, an IGT passitu made from Nasco and Malvasia, are two of Sardinia’s benchmark wines. They also produce good Vermentino di Sardegna DOC and Cannonau di Sardegna DOC.
