wong nga baak Known as Chinese cabbage, lettuce, or celery, or napa, or Beijing cabbage, it has mild-tasting, long, tightly wrapped pale leaves. It can be eaten raw; often used for making pickles. It is best braised slowly, with garlic and some ginger for warming.
