  • About
Peas are a cool-weather staple in home gardens. Loved by children and adults alike, they are versatile, delicious, and nutritious. Not only are the pea pods and seeds edible, but so are the young tender vines and leaves. Peas can be grown for their pods and seeds, or their greens (the young shoots) can be used as microgreens. The flavor and sweetness of freshly picked homegrown peas are unparalleled. They are a great garden snack, and if I’m being completely honest, most don’t make it back to my kitchen.
