  1. Step 1: Lay out your filling, spring roll wrappers, and a plate on a work surface. In a small bowl, mix ½ cup (120 ml) water with 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour.

  2. Step 2: Place a wrapper on the plate with one corner pointing towards you. Fold the bottom corner up by ⅓.

  3. Step 3: Place about 3 tablespoons of filling along the bottom edge.

  4. Step 4: Fold the left corner towards the right, covering ⅔ of the filling. Fold the right corner to the left, covering the remaining filling. Wet the wrapper’s edges from left to right using a dampened finger.

  5. Step 5: Roll the spring roll from the bottom up towards the top corner, ensuring it’s tightly wrapped to minimize the risk of filling leaking during frying.
