Beans and other Pulses, Dried

Appears in
Students' Cookbook

  • About
Dried beans and other pulses are much cheaper than canned. However, apart from lentils and a couple of others, they do have to be soaked and cooked for some time. They are high in protein and fibre, and they taste delicious. Store in airtight containers: they keep for several months.
