  • About

Vanilla is an aromatic spice obtained from the orchids of the genus Vanilla, produced in Madagascar, Tahiti and other parts of the world. Each pod (or bean) holds millions of fragrant seeds inside the pod. Vanilla is an expensive ingredient and is the most common flavouring for ice cream. Available from supermarkets and good food stores as well as online.
