Silpat liner

This reusable, nonstick silicone mat can be used in place of parchment paper in baking. Silpat liners are made of woven fiberglass that has been injected with food-grade silicone. The liners come in two sizes: 12 inches by 16 inches for half-sheet pans and 16 inches by 24 inches for full-sheet pans. Each liner lasts for about 2,000 bakings and should be washed with soap and water both before and after using. After using, cool the Silpat on a flat surface before storing. Do not cut a Silpat to fit your pan, use it as a cutting board, or wash it with abrasive cleansers, all of which will render it unusable.
