Baking Sweet Potatoes

Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Pierce each sweet potato several times with the tines of a fork and put on the prepared baking sheet. Bake for 45 minutes to 1½ hours (depending on the size and thickness of the sweet potatoes), until tender, turning the potatoes over halfway through the cooking process.
