  • About
These pretty crustaceans abound in the warm waters of India and there are many different species, including the mighty coconut crab, which is the largest living arthropod in the world. They are especially popular in the coastal south and west of the country, and their sweet, nutty flesh makes the perfect partner to spicy coconut sauces and broths. Whole crabs are often available pre-prepared or you can use crab claws.

Crabs are often used in coconut curries.
