  • About
Chilean weather and soil conditions are very good for growing grapes, and for the past several years, Chile has been coming out with some terrific wines. The Cabernets are smoky and full-flavored, with a delicious fruity, black currant taste. Their quality is uniformly good, but our favorites are from Cusiño-Macul and Los Vascos. We also like the big, oaky, honeyed flavor of the Sémillons of Undurraga and Santa Rita, and the wines produced by the Torres family. Try their steely Rieslings, delicate Gewürztraminers, or light Sauvignons.
