Cognac

A brandy (see also “Brandy”) from the Cognac region of France. When buying for the house, we prefer to skip the V.S. and go straight for the V.S.O.P., where the youngest brandy in the bottle has been aged for a minimum of at least four years, versus only two in the V.S. category.
