The Thinking Girl's Guide To Drinking: (Cocktails without Regrets)

By Ariane Resnick

  • About
Quite simply, a word for whiskey produced in Scotland that has been aged for a minimum of three years. We used two different styles of scotch whisky: single malt and blended. Single malt scotch comes from a single distillery and is always made from 100% malted barley. Blended scotch is a combination of those single malt whiskies as well as grain spirits. For those of you who are looking for a scotch alternative, Nikka Coffee Grain from Japan has a similar effect in cocktails and is 97% corn.
