Medium-large, rounded; the smooth skin has a stunning marbling of deep purple and magenta; white flesh. Steamed, skin and dull white flesh taste earthy, thin; smooth texture. Baked, the potato has more balance and sweetness, but pale flavor. Note that the striking skin turns purplish brown to brown.
