Rounded or oval; deep magenta skin with pinkish lavender flesh. Moist, soft, mild. Steaming brings out a melt-in-your mouth creaminess. However cooked, the flesh turns lavender-pink, to varying degrees. Not a mere novelty, but a pleasing potato.
