  • About

grafting machine, a device used in grafting by making cuts through the vine rootstock and scion pieces with mirror-image shapes that permit snug fitting. Shapes used include castellate and omega. Grafting machines are an essential part of the factory-like methods used for bench grafting, but innovative growers have used modified machines for nursery grafting and field budding and grafting.
