  • About

There is no end to the creation of new and wonderful cookies. As a cookie lover, I have unearthed some real treasures since writing Rose’s Christmas Cookies many years ago. For example, people have been asking me for years for my version of the classic chocolate chip cookie and I have finally included it here. Woody’s Black and White Brownies are three flavors of chocolate at their creamiest best. One of my new top favorite cookies of all time is the fragrant with almonds, dissolving in the mouth Greek Kourambiethes. Most unusual and cherished are chef Vinnie Scotto’s Praline Pecan Meringue Ice Cream Sandwiches. Most addictive are Pepparkakors, followed closely by the Rugelach. And if I had just one cookie to represent me, it would be the exquisite chocolate and apricot Ischler.
