when we used to visit pubs and bars in our younger days, the choice of alcohol-free drinks available was usually restricted to lemonade or cola; and the only thing even remotely resembling a non-alcoholic cocktail would be the addition of a squirt of lime cordial or orange juice to the lemonade.
