Andrew Sharp’s Herdwick lamb and mutton

  • About
If there is an advocate for mutton, it’s got to be Andrew Sharp. Back in London, Andrew Sharp is among the denizens of the buzzy Borough Market, where he displays every cut possible of his Herdwick lamb and mutton and Galloway beef. You may be wondering why I’m banging on about mutton? By now, as you read this, I hope it’s becoming a popular dish again on tables up and down the country. And in restaurants. A small group of us — cooks, food writers and members of the farming industry - are trying our best to get mutton back in the kitchens through the Mutton Renaissance Committee, with the support of HRH Prince Charles.
