  • About
These are a useful storecupboard standby in the kitchen for all sorts of sweet and savoury dishes. They lend flavour and texture to cakes, teabreads, biscuits, meringue desserts, steamed puddings and crumble toppings.
Nuts, such as hazelnuts and walnuts, are delicious simply toasted with a little oil and sea salt and scattered into a salad, or even tossed into vegetables like greens and spinach. And when they are in season, it’s great to have a bowl of fresh nuts alongside the fruit bowl to snack on.
