Cooking is science, but that is a generalisation. In actual fact cooking is simply the application of heat to change the property of one product into another. That makes heat the single most important part of cooking. Once that has been established it is easy to go a step further and say that the cost of the heat in cooking is the single most important aspect of cooking. To conclude this line of thought it is therefore a given that controlling and managing heat is going to have an effect on the cost of running a successful business.
