  • About
Spices are aromatic seasonings obtained from tropical plants and trees, including the seeds and pods, stems, bark, roots, buds, berries and fruits. Spices such as nutmeg and cloves were once so highly sought after that wars were fought over the medieval spice trading routes. Use spices sparingly so as not to overpower the other flavours in a dish.
