  • About
The most famous of all the flatbreads, Italian pizza is loved the world over. There are countless variations but it is the pizza of Naples in southern Italy that is considered to be the true pizza. The first pizza was pizza bianca (white) and the topping was garlic, lard, salt and anchovies. The arrival of the tomato from South America gave rise to pizzas topped with tomato.
