Fruited Cakes

I haven’t gone all quaint and ye olde. I use the word ‘fruited’ simply to make it clear that what follows is not just fruit cakes – in fact, there’s only one here – but all sorts of cakes with fruit in them. For the rest of the more traditional fruit cakes, turn to the Christmas chapter.
