  • About
Early summer mornings, when the air’s still dewy, farm children gather ripe, juicy berries for Mother’s superb pies. Step into the farm kitchen midmorning and a taunting fragrance greets you. Visit and sip coffee for a half hour and you’ll see sugar-sprinkled pies with color-bright juice bubbling in the vents being carried from oven to cooling racks on the counter. You’ll want to accept that invitation to linger longer for dinner— fresh berry pie for dessert!
We’ll give you several berry pie recipes, but we’ll start with a plus: basic directions that will insure your success with fresh berry pies.
