  • About

Among popular fruit pies in the Pacific Northwest are the luscious cranberry-blueberry specials. A Washington farm homemaker says: “We have a cranberry bog and my favorite Cranberry-Blueberry Pie recipe comes in handy during the harvest season when I cook for a crew of men. They all seem to enjoy this dessert best. For company, I often put a lattice top on this pie—sometimes spoon vanilla ice cream on top.

“We have enough blueberry bushes to yield fruit for fresh berry pies, and to freeze to combine with fresh cranberries and pastry.”
