Sample This Nectarine Pie

If you grow or can get nectarines, they make elegant summer pies. There are many kinds of nectarines, as there are peaches, but most of them produce extra-special pies with a peachy flavor. Some California cooks, including the one who sent us the recipe, believe nectarines have more flavor and aroma than peaches. Our recipe testers agreed the fruit makes really good “peach” pies!
