Like to use your imagination in cooking? If you do, here’s your chance to try out some of your ideas. You don’t need recipes to make fascinating sundae tarts. All you must have is fruit or berries, ice cream and the spirit of adventure.

Just before mealtime, fill tart shells about three fourths full of prepared fruit. Experiment with sliced strawberries or peaches; lightly sweetened raspberries or blueberries; frozen or drained, canned pineapple chunks; diced bananas dipped in lemon juice or mixed with diced oranges; thick applesauce; rhubarb sauce; cooked and cut-up prunes or dried apricots, or a combination of the two; or frozen strawberries and peaches.
