Organic vegetables are always recommended. It is not good for our health and well-being to eat vegetables and fruit sprayed with toxins. Some non-organic vegetables are worse to eat than others, and these are commonly referred to as the dirty dozen. This list varies slightly from year to year depending on what comes up in testing, but the following are regularly included: strawberries, apples, pears, nectarines, peaches, grapes, cherries, tomatoes, bell peppers, spinach, cucumbers, celery, snap peas and potatoes. It is more expensive to buy but I would suggest you try to go organic on at least these ones.
