  • About
My father always loved fishing. He would spend hours out in the boat or standing on the beach just fishing. And, although he would more often than not have a good catch, he would sometimes come home with nothing. This phenomenon didn’t seem to diminish the experience for him, indeed, I think it was the fishing more than the fish that Dad enjoyed. Those hours of tranquillity spent outside with nature and the lure of a sport that not only relaxed him, but nine times out of ten helped feed the family, was, I think, what my father most enjoyed in his life (apart from loving his wife and children, of course).
