The Menu

  • About
When you have a family dinner during the week the menu is probably very simple and comprised of just one dish. The menu for a celebration dinner or lunch could be substantially larger and should have some sort of relationship between the dishes so that the dinner feels complete. Each dish should feel like it adds weight to the whole experience, and if going to all that trouble you should make it a great experience for your friends and family. Now I’m on record as saying that a restaurant meal is a more formal experience, and that home dining is an informal one; however, it is still worth thinking about the mix of food that you are about to serve to your guests at home.
