You may wish to use one of several types of processed foie gras products for some preparations. These products are cooked by the producer and packed in cans or in vacuum packaging. Most are imported from Europe. All are ready to eat as purchased and need no further cooking.

Foie Gras Cuit, Entier [FWA grah kwee ahn-TYAY]: Whole lobes of cooked, seasoned foie gras vacuum-packed and refrigerated or frozen.

Foie Gras Cuit, Morceaux [FWA grah kwee mor-SOH]: Pieces of cooked, seasoned foie gras vacuum-packed and refrigerated or frozen.
