Sources of Equipment and Ingredients

  • About
Though few unusual pieces of equipment are called for in the recipes, you may wish to purchase pans, molds, or tools for particular preparations. Local restaurant-supply stores carry heavy-duty equipment that may be more expensive, but is more durable, than lighter-weight domestic cookware and baking pans. Failing that, a great many excellent pans, molds, and tools are available in department and hardware stores.
For imported Italian food products, grocery stores in Italian neighborhoods usually carry a full line of ingredients necessary for the recipes.
