  • About
Oat milk has truly changed my afternoon routine. I used to drink coffee with a heart-stopping amount of half-and-half in it. Now I froth up a bit of oat milk every afternoon for my 3 p.m. decaf coffee.
The oil in the recipe helps the oat milk hold a froth. Feel free to omit as you see fit. I used to soak the oats for 10 minutes before blending, but it makes the whole thing a bit slimier. I also no longer strain the oat milk. I don’t mind the flecks of oat, and it makes me feel very self-righteous to have gotten even more fiber into a cup of coffee while avoiding any food waste.
