  • About
Most of the sodium in our diets comes from packaged foods. Eating too many of these can quickly add up, exceeding the 1,500 to 2,300 milligram upper limit that most of us should have each day. Start with fresh foods and you’ll naturally reduce the amount of sodium in your diet. When buying packaged foods, compare brands and look closely at the sodium content. And don’t be afraid to try low salt versions—you’ll be pleasantly surprised.
