A Note on the Measurements

This book uses Australian metric measurements.

1 cup = 250 ml (9 fl oz)

1 teaspoon = 5 ml

1 tablespoon = 20 ml

A US cup = 235 ml (8 fl oz). If you are using an American cup, please add an extra tablespoon to your ingredients.

A US/UK tablespoon = 15 ml (½ fl oz). If you are using a US/UK tablespoon, for most recipes the difference is negligible. However, to be accurate you may want to add an extra teaspoon of the ingredient for each tablespoon listed.

For US readers, 115 g (4 oz/½ cup) = 1 stick of butter
