For the most part, my freezer is populated with ice cream, ice cubes, teethers, and a booboo bear for my tottering seventeen-month-old. When I make pesto, I usually make a large batch and freeze it. Sometimes I’ll also freeze meat sauces for pasta and the simple tomato sauce with butter and onion. Other than that I am not fond of freezing. I find that freezing damages food. The following are a couple of exceptions.
