  1. Fill the bottom reservoir with water up to the valve.
  2. Put the filter in and fill it with very finely ground coffee for espresso. Do not press the coffee down.
  3. Screw on the top tightly and place over medium heat. When you hear a gurgling sound, the coffee should be ready. Open the lid to make sure, then remove from the heat.
