It was my grandfather’s rifle that (at a far too tender age) I decided to use for a bit of target practice. I placed my old beer cans on the fence, close to Dad’s inconveniently parked Triumph 2500 saloon car. I didn’t quite have my eye lined up, and started to aim at the McEwan’s cans. Yep! you guessed it. The impact of the ‘Dum Dum’ bullet on the rear wing of the navy blue car wasn’t good, as the bullets are designed to explode and spread on impact. Although a huge hole in the bodywork of the car was not ideal, the interior was unfortunately even worse, and. as I recall, so was the exterior of my backside later that day
