There’s nothing easier to prepare than a simple cheese plate. This carefully curated dish—served after the main dish and before (or in lieu of) dessert—is often one of the favorite courses among dinner guests who are happy to discover a wide array of cheeses selected by their host. In order to put together a classic cheese plate, there are a few guidelines to follow—but mostly the process involves having fun at your local fromagerie or the dairy section of your favorite store.
