  • About
Both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks have a place in Turkish cuisine. The most famous Turkish alcoholic drink is of course the rakı, although beers and a number of table wines are produced. During the Ottoman period alcoholic drinks were periodically banned, but their consumption has continued to the present day.
